Conosciuta grazie alla serie Peccato Originale, è stata una delle prime autrici approdate in italia tramite la Newton Compton in grado di rappresentare il mondo BDSM senza paure. Miracolo insomma. Tutto il mondo è libero di esprimersi e noi abbiamo ancora i musoni che protestano con i forconi.
In questo caso, come in The Bourbon Thief (Il ladro di ricordi) si tratta di un genere completamente diverso, un esperimento riuscito anche se fuori dai suoi standard.

Gwen Ashby ha lasciato il fidanzato, il lavoro e la sua casa. Nella macchina c’è tutta la sua vita racchiusa negli scatoloni ed è pronta per un nuovo percorso di vita direzione Chicago.

Lì è intenzionata a trovare lavoro come insegnante presso una famosa scuola. In città però sono tutti un po’ restii a parlare di questo luogo. Così Gwen decide di raggiungerlo direttamente per richiedere un colloquio.

Tutto diventa nero, la testa le fa un male cane e si risveglia all’interno della scuola accerchiata da ragazzini e da un preside parecchio interessante.

Che strano posto, sembra che il tempo si sia congelato. Alunni diligenti, molto intelligenti e che addirittura recitano Shakespeare per diletto. Sarà mica il paradiso dell’insegnante?
